By accessing, browsing, or utilizing LISWALA (liswala.com), its web tools, utilities, APIs, guides, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using our services immediately.

2. About LISWALA

LISWALA is an independent software and educational platform built to support the global Library and Information Science community. The platform offers digital tools (including Barcode Generators, QR Generators, Spine Label Makers, ID Card Designers, Excel to MARC21 Converters, Stock Verification Utilities, and Gate In-Out Management Systems), along with curated study notes, guides, and tutorials.

3. Eligibility and User Accounts

Most utility tools on LISWALA can be accessed freely without registration. However, creating an account is required to access customized features such as the Library Gate In-Out System, training courses, and user dashboard analytics.

• You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and password.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or breach of security.

4.Use of LISWALA Tools & User Responsibilities

Our tools are designed to streamline library technical processing, cataloguing, and management. By using these tools, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Output Review: You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all generated outputs—including barcode numbers, ISBN formats, MARC21 tags, spine label dimensions, and ID card layouts—prior to printing, physical application, or importing into your Integrated Library Management System (ILMS) such as KOHA.
• Data Ownership & Uploads: You retain full ownership of any spreadsheets, images, logos, or library data you upload into LISWALA tools. You warrant that you have the right and authority to upload and process such information.

5.Accuracy, Limitations & Regulatory Disclaimers

LISWALA provides various informational aids, calculators, inspection filing checklists, and regulatory reference guides (including references to AICTE, NAAC, UGC, PCI, ISO, and GFR stock verification standards).

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All software, source code, user interface designs, logos, graphics, guides, and original content created by LISWALA are the intellectual property of LISWALA and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or create derivative works of LISWALA software code or proprietary assets without prior written consent.

7. Prohibited Activities

When using LISWALA, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, user accounts, databases, or networks.
• Launch automated scraping, denial-of-service (DoS), or high-frequency requests intended to overload or disrupt our infrastructure.
• Upload or transmit any malicious scripts, malware, viruses, or harmful payloads.
• Circumvent security mechanisms, authentication tokens, or rate-limiting protocols.

8.Service Availability & Modifications

We continuously enhance, update, and maintain the LISWALA platform. While we strive for high uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, tool, or service with or without prior notice.

The Service may contain links to third-party resources, open-source library standards, and external software packages (such as KOHA, MarcEdit, DDC, Cutter-Sanborn, and Library of Congress). We do not control or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or operations of third-party websites or tools.
